The Perdido Key Rotary Club is pleased to announce it’s first annual “Big Lagoon WET & WILD Festival”!

The festival will be held on Saturday, September 19th, 8:00am-5:30pm at the Big Lagoon State Park.

Admission into the park is free for the festival.

• 5 mile hike – Perdido Rotary’s “Walk in the Park”
• Nature walk, wading tour, animal show & scavenger hunt led by Park Rangers
• Geo-caching hike led by FL Department of Environmental Protection
• Cast net throwing
• Fly fishing presentation
• Kayaking lesson
• Sailing lesson led by a volunteer
• Surfing, Paddle Boarding, and Skim Boarding led by Blonde Johns
• Snorkeling lesson and Scuba demonstration led by Dive Pros
• Marine animal touch tank
• Treasure hunt
• Carnival games
• Rock wall and bungee power bounce

There will only be a charge for the carnival, food concessions, shirt sales and private rentals. The private rental would most likely be a kayak. The contact number for information on the event is 850-982-8266.
